Job description

As an HR advisor, you will be responsible for delivery of a full range of human resource services. One of your main roles is advising both employers and clients on both recruiting new staff and taking care of the current ones once they get hired

 

Responsibilities

  • Conducting job evaluations
  • Advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies
  • Coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants
  • Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff
  • Providing advice and playing a major role in work reviews and change processes
  • Updating and maintaining the HR Information System data
  • Write and present information briefings on a range of HR related topics
  • Advising on staff development
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
  • Consulting on issues related to workplace relations and performance management
  • Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures, legislation, and enterprise agreements

 

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an HR Advisor, HR Consultant or similar role
  • Knowledge of labor legislation
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (HRMS)
  • Ability to design clear and fair company policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • BSc in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or similar field
  • MSc/MA in HR or Organizational Psychology is a plus

 

Salary: the average salary of a HR representative in the UK is £30,500/year
